In the heart of Naples stands Tin City, a century old landmark beloved for its charm and history. At the helm of this iconic property is Craig Ekonomos, known for his contagious optimism and trademark Tin City hat and handlebar mustache,  Craig took on the role of property manager just over two years ago, However, his leadership was put to the test almost immediately. In a span of just three months, Craig faced numerous disasters:

Hurricane lan wreaked havoc across the area, causing flooding and finally, a car crash that tore through an entire section of the building. These events left thirty tenants without a place to do business, halted fishing trips, shuttered restaurants, and plunged an entire building into darkness, all while the surrounding area was engulfed in Gordon River mud.

Managing a century-old building like Tin City is no easy task under normal circumstances, but with these compounded challenges, the path to recovery was anything but straightforward.

Tin City is not just a building; it is a symbol of Naples* rich history and charm. For Craig, preserving this legacy while steering the property back to operational status was of paramount importance.

Craig's approach to the situation was rooted in perseverance and an unyielding belief in the process. Understanding the magnitude of the task, he quickly assembled a team of skilled professionals-electricians, contractors, painters, remediation crews, and plumbers-who worked tirelessly to restore Tin City. Each day presented new hurdles, from structural issues to logistical nightmares, but Craig's leadership ensured that the work continued without pause.

Despite the complexity of the situation, Craig's motto, "trust the process," guided every decision. This philosophy proved invaluable as day by day, the property inched closer to recovery. Craig's optimism and dedication inspired those around him, and together, they achieved what seemed impossible: just 77 days after the initial disaster, Tin City reopened its doors. Every displaced tenant returned, ready to welcome customers once more, and the property emerged from the ordeal stronger and better than ever.

Today, Tin City stands not only as a testament to Naples resilience but also as a tribute to Craig Ekonomos exceptional leadership. His ability to navigate through adversity, coupled with his commitment to preserving Tin City's historic charm, has ensured that this beloved destination remains a vibrant part of the community. Thanks to Craig, Tin City continues to be a must-visit destination for both visitors and locals—a place where Naples' past and present coexist in perfect harmony. With that determination and belief, any challenge can be overcome, and a community can emerge stronger than ever.
