North Naples is about to get a little more Mediterranean. On April 17, 2025, Estia, the family-owned Greek restaurant known for its fresh seafood and warm hospitality, will officially open its doors at 8990 Fontana Del Sol Way. This marks the seventh location for the East Coast-based brand—and its first in Southwest Florida.
With a menu centered around traditional Greek Mediterranean cuisine and fresh fish flown in daily from the Mediterranean, Estia offers a dining experience that feels both elevated and inviting. Guests are welcomed into a space that’s been thoughtfully designed to reflect the breezy elegance of the Greek islands—whitewashed wood, hand-selected stone, and rustic urns imported directly from Greece create a setting that’s as transportive as the food itself.
“We’re excited to expand to North Naples and share our family recipes and culture with the community,” says Gus Pashalis, co-owner of Estia. “We want our guests to experience the warmth of Greek hospitality, along with the incredible flavors of the Mediterranean.”
The 400-seat restaurant includes a wrap-around patio overlooking a tranquil pond, perfect for al fresco dining. Located just west of the Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt, Estia blends location and atmosphere seamlessly. The architectural details—arched white stone, natural textures, and Mediterranean accents—were developed in collaboration with an interior designer specializing in Greek homes, adding an unmistakable authenticity to the space.
At the heart of Estia’s menu is its signature whole grilled fish, sourced from independent fishermen across the Mediterranean, Morocco, Tunisia, and Portugal. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a chilled ice display featuring the day’s fresh catch—each fish available for selection and cooked to order.
“Whole fish, simply grilled, is our forté,” says Pashalis. “We use traditional charcoal grilling, seasoned with our house ladolemono, oregano, and capers. It’s all about letting the quality of the fish shine.”
Popular options include Lavraki (European Sea Bass), Tsipoura (Royal Dorado), and Karavides (Langoustines)—a delicacy grilled in the shell and finished with lemon and olive oil. Alongside the seafood offerings, the menu features an array of classic Greek dishes such as Lamb Chops, Dolmades, Spanakopita, and tender Grilled Octopus, each made using family recipes passed down through generations.
To complement the food, Estia offers a carefully curated wine list highlighting both Greek and international labels. The cocktail menu leans into native Greek spirits like Mastiha, Metaxa, and Ouzo, and includes inventive creations such as the Meli—vodka with passionfruit, honey, and lemon—and the Aloi, a refreshing mix of gin, plum, aloe vera, and mint.
Open Sunday through Thursday from 3 to 10 PM, and Friday and Saturday until 11 PM, Estia will also feature live entertainment on weekends, adding to its lively, welcoming atmosphere.
For Naples locals and visitors alike, Estia promises more than just dinner—it’s a celebration of Mediterranean living, where every detail, from the ingredients to the ambiance, is rooted in tradition, quality, and heart.
