In a tropical state better known for its sandy beaches than snowbanks, Collier County is set to defy nature once again with the 40th annual SnowFest! Taking place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., this much-anticipated event will transform the Paradise Coast Sports Complex (PCSC) into a magical winter wonderland for families to enjoy.
SnowFest, hosted by the Paradise Coast Sports Complex in partnership with Collier County Parks & Recreation Division and the Collier County Tourism Department, is a beloved tradition that combines the enchantment of winter with the charm of Florida living. This year, organizers promise a celebration bigger and better than ever, filled with snow-inspired fun and festive cheer for attendees of all ages.
Winter Fun, Florida Style
SnowFest delivers on its promise to bring snow to Florida, creating a winter playground complete with snow slides and interactive games. Kids can revel in activities like RC car races and an expansive “holiday fun bounce land”, while families enjoy live music and a diverse range of local vendors offering holiday treats, crafts, and more.
Adding to the magic, Santa Claus himself will make a special appearance, spreading holiday cheer, taking photos, and greeting children. Whether it's the thrill of a snowball fight in 70-degree weather or a sweet holiday treat from a vendor, there’s something to make everyone’s spirits bright.
An Outdoor Movie to Cap Off the Day
The fun doesn’t end when the sun sets. As evening falls, attendees are invited to the PCSC Great Lawn to enjoy a free screening of a holiday classic on Southwest Florida’s largest outdoor video screen, a towering 40-foot display. The movie begins at 7:30 p.m., and families are encouraged to bring blankets, settle in, and savor the magic of the season under a starry Florida sky.
